A job in the skilled trades is a rewarding and in-demand career with good pay. With an apprenticeship, you’ll receive paid on-the-job training followed by short periods of in-class technical training while you continue to work and get paid. After you complete both the in-class and on-the-job training, you can apply for your journeyperson certification which would allow you to work anywhere in Canada.
